Micron z.s. is a non-profit association of individuals who are involved or interested in microscopy. The association is formed on voluntarily basis. Micron performs various activities with the aim of inceasing the knowledge about various types of microscopies and connected science disciplines (especially histochemistry, optics, microscopy instrumentation, material and life sciences, image processing, software development etc.). Micron also contributes in the area of international collaboration in microscopy, and collaborates with research and commercial bodies in order to facilitate further development of microscopy devices.
